A silicon-dioxide (SiO₂) treatment that bonds below the surface of the shingle, the same chemistry as window glass, instead of sitting on top like paint.
Water beads and runs off.
Once it’s cured, water sheets off instead of soaking in. Granules stay put and the surface stays cleaner, longer.
UV bounces instead of bakes.
It reflects the punishing Texas UV that dries shingles out, the single biggest reason roofs here age before their time.
